Description: The Online Script Recognition(OSR) for Devanagari Script is my undergraduate project. We(Amit and me) are supposed to develop a software with multiple recognition algorithms and compare them for performance. We would also be suggesting improvements etc to the algorithms.

I took two very introductory courses on Animation during my undergraduate studies. There are a few animations that I created for the courses. They are pretty simple and stupid but worth mentioning :)

Managing large amount of data can be very difficult. Image if you had to look at thousands of articles! In such places, every bit that is not transferred decreases download time. In my project with Development Seed I was asked to create a module for Drupal that used the latest technologies to do the improvements. The final module loaded just small amounts of data for previewing. Details could then be loaded using ajax etc. The work also involved exploration of simple animation effects - Slideup/down and fadeIn/Out.

As the name suggests, It is about a javascript Grapher. Although I could not release it till now, I hope I can do it sometime soon. The Grapher(or grafer :) can plot simple Bar charts, Pie Charts, Line Graphs. They can be customized to display various differnt styles and can also be animated to do simple stuff like slide up/slide down etc. The best part is the userinteractivity. The user can create the graph on client side! Now how cool is that! ;)

This project started it all. I never thought I'd do so much of web-programming stuff if it was not for Google SoC'06 and this Form Creator. I got to learn JSON, jQuery and work with Drupal. These three gave me the experiance enough to go on till now. Form Creator is a module for drupal that provides a client side ui to create forms and get the drupal specific php code for that form. There is one more form creator I made but will publish it later...

Named as canvas, the web application was very much like netvibes (versions available in 2006 start) and start. The code was horrible and by the end I was starting to get mad but it worked in the presentation and I got an A in Software Engineering ;). I always want to improve it. maybe I would in some way or the other. I think I'll use it as a prototype for adding it to one of the projects that I dream about.
